2008 Upcoming Iowa (Area) Events

In a busy year, Iowa has been host as as many as six different renaissance festivals. For 2008, there are two currently announced (but at least one more predicted to return this year, but their website doesn't list 2008 dates yet).

Always check with official sources before heading to an event. Information posted here can change. For example, in 2004 the Des Moines Ren Faire had to change locations less than a week before opening due to a flood, and A Renaissance Affaire in Osceola was cancelled just days before opening. In 2007, the Amana Colonies Ren Fest cancelled a few weeks before opening due to weather. Keep this in mind, and check the official web sites.
